Trojan Profile: Adrianna Henderson

Adrianna Henderson, one of the twelve girls on this year’s varsity basketball team, averages 22 points a game. Due to her record, Henderson has received over four offers from colleges like DePaul University in Chicago, Illinois,  Wichita State, California State in Fresno, California and Northern Texas.

“My plans for the future is to go D1 in college, get a degree in accounting and hopefully go pro,”Henderson said. “When I do I will account for my own money,” 

The first game of the season was December 5 against Lawrence Free State, in the Dungeon, where Henderson will be suiting up as a senior for the first time.


“I think we’ll be alright [this season],” Henderson said.

Henderson, started her basketball career in kindergarten but didn’t actually get on a team until her fifth grade year.

“I like everything about basketball especially competing,” Henderson said.


After years of playing high school basketball, this will be Henderson’s last basketball season. Henderson currently has a 4.0 GPA from the help she has received from JAG, she plans on moving on to college.

“On and off the court I’m way better than [I was] freshman year, because I make straight A’s and I’m a better leader to the girls,” Henderson said.
