Fast and Furious 7
Furious 7 will supposedly not be the last installment of the series but one cannot shake the feeling of it being a farewell. It was filled with ups and downs. The emotions and relationships were overwhelmingly strong. Throughout the whole movie it was obvious it was a goodbye to the infamous deceased actor, Paul Walker. Walker passed away before the movie was finished, making people around the world take a moment of silence. It was not long before fans of the series started asking the hardest question for director, James Wan, how were they going to finish the movie without the beloved actor. The answer: brothers and computer-generated imagery (CGI). The controversy gave the movie more publicity and tied into the selling out of multiple theaters for weeks.
A dead man’s brother seeks revenge on the Toretto gang, making the movie filled with action. Wan brings back Michelle Rodriguez, Jordana Brewster, Tyrese Gibson, Chris “Ludacris” Bridges, Elsa Pataky and Lucas Black, Vin Diesel and Paul Walker making the gang complete. The sense of family is strong between the actors, pulling the movie together with chemistry. Even with all of the chemistry and action it is hard not watch the great movie and think about the tragic death of Paul Walker. The movie is so fun but so sad at the same time. I would recommend bringing a tissue box because Furious 7 will tug on your heart strings over and over again.
Overall the movie had a easy to follow storyline and great casting. If you are one of those people who forget some important events I would recommend sitting down and having a movie marathon before watching the newest film. The experience of watching the movie would be much better and easier to understand some references. The anticipation for the movie overwhelming and Wan did not leave his audience unsatisfied.
