Stranger Things renewed for second season

DISCLAIMER:

This article contains potential spoilers for anyone who has not seen the full first season of Stranger Things

Stranger Things is a popular series that came exclusively to Netflix in July of this year. The story follows a group of middle school boys who live in a small Indiana town set in 1983. When one of their friends, Will, goes missing an extraordinary series of mysterious events take place involving classified government experiments, supernatural forces, and a very peculiar little girl.

One of the most popular things right now in the media regarding the show is the conspiracy theories. Theories range from “Is Eleven Hopper’s deceased daughter?” and “The demogorgon is a projection of Eleven’s subconscious”. While these are interesting, nothing has been confirmed and they remain theories.

If you’ve already seen Stranger Things, then you know the deal. Will goes missing, then comes back, Barb is dead, who knows what Hopper’s deal is, and where did Eleven go? So many questions, and we’ll have to wait until season 2 for our answers. Digitaltrends.com has confirmed that the show will be renewed for a second season coming up in 2017, but no official date has been set.
