There will be a variety of concerts coming to Kansas City and Lawrence during the month of May. The concerts will be located in various theaters and all kinds of music will be performed.

On May 15th, the Starlight Theatre in Kansas City will be hosting Beck and Willie Nelson. Beck is an alternative rock musician from California and his most popular songs are “Loser” and “Everybody’s Gotta Learn Sometime.” Willie Nelson is a country musician from Texas and his most well known songs are “Always on My Mind” and “On the Road Again.” The gates open at 7pm and tickets start at $45. On May 19th, New Kids on the Block is coming to the Sprint Center in Kansas City with special guests TLC and Nelly.  New Kids on the Block is a boy band from Massachusetts and their most popular songs are “You got it” and “Step by Step.” TLC is girl  group from Georgia whose most popular songs are “Waterfalls” and “No Scrubs.” Nelly is a rapper from Missouri and his popular songs are “Hot in Herre” and “Ride wit me.” The gates open at 6pm and tickets start at $29.50. On May 20th, the Granada Theater in Lawrence is hosting Purity Ring. Purity Ring is an electronic music duo from Canada with their most popular songs being Fineshrine and Push Pull.  The group will also being supported by two other Canadian groups Braids and Born Gold.
