The jazz band and drumline  will be traveling to Branson, Missouri this Friday. The trip serves as a replacement for the group’s annual trip to Disney World that was cancelled earlier in the year.

“The band couldn’t go to Disney this year because we didn’t get enough people to register,” Daniel Xidis, senior, said. “But Mr. Holloman wanted to do something for the seniors so we could still have a trip,”

The band will ride down to Branson Friday morning and be staying over the weekend. Both the jazz band and drumline will be playing separate venues.

“[Jazz band] is going to play on a steam boat, The Branson Bell, as people get on,” Xidis said.

The drumline will be playing at a separate location.

“We are going for Branson Live, which is this music fest,” Summer Morrissey, senior, said.
In addition to performing  the band will also be visiting Silver Dollar City, an amusement park in Branson for fun.
