Local+Summer+Concerts

Over the course of the summer, a variety of bands and performers are coming to Kansas City and Lawrence. The concerts will be performed in various locations and feature all kinds of styles of music.
JuicyJOn June 1, the Granada theater in Lawrence will be hosting Juicy J, a rapper from Memphis, Tennessee, his most popular songs are “Bandz a Make Her Dance” and “Bounce It”. On June 23, Tyler, the Creator will be performing at Arvest Bank Theatre. He is a rapper from Los Angeles, California and is most well known 2013TylerTheCreator_DD_47100913for “Yonkers” and “Domo23”. On July 9, Rush will be performing at the Sprint Center in Kansas City. Rush is a rock band from Toronto, Canada and their most popular Rush_Pub_1songs are “Tom Sawyer” and “Spirit of Radio”. On July 21, the Cricket Wireless Amphitheater in Bonner Springs will be hosting Wiz Khalifa, Fall Out Boy, and Hoodie Allen. Wiz Khalifa is a 169422rapper from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and he is most well known for “Black and Yellow” and “Work Hard, Play Hard”. Fall Out Boy is an alternative rock band from Wilmette, Illinois and their most popular songs are “Thnks Fr Th Mmrs” and “Sugar, We’re Goin Down”. Hoodie Allen is a rapper from New York City, New York and is most popular for “No Interruption” and “All About It’. The doors open at 6pm and tickets start at $29.
